Stephen Moore

Associate

Stephen Moore is an emerging growth and venture capital attorney, advising clients on matters related to venture capital financings, general corporate advising for startups and founders, and mergers and acquisitions. Stephen is an associate in the Denver office and a member of Foley’s Transactions Practice Group.

Stephen’s prior experience working in startups brings an array of practical experience, and a focus on getting deals to close efficiently and effectively.

Prior to joining Foley, Stephen was an associate for another firm in Colorado where he gained experience with corporate transactions, entity formations, startup financings, and M&A transactions. He began his legal career as in-house counsel serving an AI startup’s executive team and managing a wide variety of operational responsibilities. During law school, Stephen clerked for both the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission as well as a corporate energy litigation firm.

Prior to law school, Stephen worked in public policy and lobbying, where he served as a Legislative Aide for the office of Governor Hickenlooper and a public policy director of a Colorado based think tank.
