Amanda Soler is a business lawyer in the Environmental Practice with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is also a member of the Energy Industry Team. During law school, Amanda worked with the North Carolina Department of Justice in the Land, Groundwater, and Waste Division, as well as with the Southern Environmental Law Center.
Amanda advises clients in all areas of environmental law, including environmental compliance counseling, transactions, and environmental litigation. She counsels clients regarding permitting requirements related to air emissions, waste management, and water discharges. Amanda also counsels energy industry clients and provides regulatory risk analysis in connection with various transactions in the energy industry, including contract negotiation, project development, and regulatory compliance. Amanda has assisted clients in administrative proceedings before state and federal courts and agencies, including the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Amanda also works extensively on environmental and energy regulatory permitting matters related to the financing, design, development, and operation of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and renewable natural gas.
