Patrick M. Zabrowski, a retired partner with Foley & Lardner LLP, has experience in a broad spectrum of real estate matters, such as purchase and sale transactions, construction and development of real estate projects, mortgage loan transactions and commercial leasing matters. He was a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice and Energy Industry Team.

Patrick is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association’s Committee on Legal Opinions and the Wisconsin Bar Association’s Subcommittee on Real Estate Forms. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Bankers Association. As an associate member of the Wisconsin Land Title Association, Patrick developed particular knowledge in title insurance-related legal matters.

In 1997, Patrick was elected to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers based on his accomplishments and experience as a real estate lawyer, as well as his contributions to the legal profession. Membership in the College is by invitation only. In addition, Patrick has been Peer Review Rated as AV® Preeminent™, the highest performance rating in Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system and is listed in the current edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers (2005-10). He was also selected for inclusion in the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Wisconsin Super Lawyers® lists and selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© in the area of real estate law (2015).

Prior to attending law school, Patrick worked as a real estate broker in the Milwaukee area, and he continues to hold his real estate broker’s license. A native of Milwaukee, he received his undergraduate degree, with highest honors, from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, and his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Patrick was note and comment editor of the Wisconsin Law Review, elected to the Order of Coif, and awarded the Wisconsin Land Title Association Award for scholarship in real estate law.
