Florida Hospital Association 2015 Telehealth Summit

Foley & Lardner LLP attorneys Nathaniel Lacktman, Jonathan Kilman and Paul Lowell spoke at the recent Florida Hospital Association Telehealth Summit, held in Orlando Florida.
The Summit consisted of a full day dedicated to telehealth services in Florida, with a specific emphasis on how Florida hospitals and systems can build and grow meaningful telehealth programs. The event attracted leaders from numerous healthcare organizations operating throughout the State of Florida.

Nathaniel Lacktman led presentations on hospital telehealth business models, telehealth financials and telehealth legal and regulatory considerations. Jonathan Kilman moderated a panel on Florida telehealth legislation, policy and advocacy, on which Paul Lowell served as a panelist. Christian Caballero, Foley attorney and recently elected president of the nonprofit organization Telehealth Association of Florida, also attended the Summit and provided insight on upcoming legislation.

Jonathan Kilman is a partner and co-chair of the Florida Government & Public Policy practice of the firm. Paul Lowell is a public affairs director with Foley & Lardner who previously served in several senior level healthcare policy and legal roles in Florida’s executive and legislative branches of government. Christian Caballero is a public affairs director with the firm who previously served as deputy cabinet affairs director in the Executive Office of the Governor and as a White House Fellow.
