The Boardroom Climate on Climate Change – Session I of the 2007 Environmental Law Update Series

Foley attorneys discussed on April 19 climate change and its impact on U.S. businesses. We discussed current voluntary efforts that some companies have undertaken, and the motivation behind them. The program also summarized new and pending local, state and federal legislation, and the prospects for future requirements. We also discuss current and pending financial disclosure obligations, and how companies are responding to pressures from the investment community.
