Simon and Virginkar Publish “FCPA” Chapter in German Legal Treatise

Foley partners David Simon and Rohan Virginkar have written a chapter focused on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in a German handbook entitled Konzernstrafrecht: Handbuch für die Unternehmens- und Anwaltspraxis, to be released in hardcover on 1 December 2019. As economic criminal law has gained considerable importance in recent years in both legal practice and law, and has become an independent area of law, this work deals with the specific questions of criminal law and administrative offense related to corporate structures. In addition to questions of corporate law, general questions (criminal liability, sanctions, conflicts of jurisdiction), peculiarities in selected offenses, and issues of criminal compliance and investigations are discussed.
