Featured in the article was Gay’s “Litigation Leaders” profile Q&A where he drew comparisons between the spirit of an athlete and a trial lawyer saying: “While there is competition everywhere in business, a jury verdict is as close as I can imagine to the walk-off home run, the buzzer-beating shot or the game-winning touchdown. And just like in sports, working harder than your competition and being surrounded by the best team gives you and your client the best chance of winning.”
