Foley Partner Paul Broude co-authored an article titled “Overnight Success” in the December 2009 issue of AFP Exchange. Broude discusses the use of overnight secondary offerings to raise equity, stating that many corporate treasurers are using the proceeds of recent overnight offerings to pay down debt or facilitate refinancing of their loans on better terms. He adds that overnight deals can be an attractive way for corporate treasurers to help balance a company’s work sheet.
