Dana Levitt Brings Extensive Trial and Arbitration Experience.
Foley today announced that litigator Dana Levitt has joined the firm as a partner in the Los Angeles office, working in the General Commercial Litigation Practice. Prior to joining Foley, Levitt was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery LLP.
Levitt focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes and trial work for a variety of public and private companies as well as individuals. He has significant experience representing clients in complex, multi-forum litigation and arbitration handling a variety of antitrust, franchise, labor and employment, product liability, and trademark matters.
In addition to his work litigating on behalf of clients, Levitt also will help lead efforts to recruit new attorneys to Foley and further expand the firm’s Litigation Department.
“Foley’s Litigation Department provides the ideal platform for me to expand my litigation practice in California as well as nationally,” explained Levitt. “I’m also looking forward to growing the firm’s already-strong litigation practice here.”
Noted for his work in successfully handling lengthy and complex arbitrations, Levitt also has significant experience conducting internal investigations and representing clients in cases of age discrimination, race discrimination and sexual harassment.
Earlier in his career, Levitt was the managing partner of Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan LLP and a member of its executive committee. Levitt also served as Litigation Director at Security Pacific National Bank.
