Foley CEO Quoted on Employee Engagement Strategies

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Foley CEO, chairman and partner Jay Rothman was quoted in a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article, “Top Workplaces: Finding the Recipe for a Motivated Workforce,” covering the effects of Foley’s recent engagement surveys and leadership training.
Rothman explained that the surveys prompted efforts across the firm for “improving communication and being more transparent not only to the lawyers but to the professional staff.”
He also explained, “We can’t assume that leadership in and of itself is an innate attribute. … [The firm’s leadership training] is a result of a good investment in our people this year, to share with them some of the ideas around leadership.”
Foley & Lardner LLP was recognized in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s “Wisconsin Top Workplaces 2017” ranking as a best place to work in southeastern Wisconsin, and Rothman was selected as a 2017 Top Workplaces Leadership Award recipient.
