Associate

Margaret Brzakala helps insurers, producers, and other insurance-related entities, such as third-party administrators and motor clubs, achieve their business goals while maintaining compliance with wide-ranging and complex insurance regulatory laws.

Her practice includes advising companies on insurance compliance matters, such as advertising, privacy, and licensing, and assisting industry players solve discrete insurance regulatory issues through research and correspondence with insurance regulatory agencies. She also has experience conducting complex due diligence relating to insurance regulatory issues that arise in merger and acquisition transactions, including advising regarding pre- and post-acquisition regulatory requirements.

Prior to joining Foley, Maggie was a judicial intern at the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Chambers of Justice Ann Walsh Bradley, and a legal intern at Johnson Controls. She was previously a summer associate at Foley in 2020.
