Michael K. Crossen is a partner and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP, where his practice focuses on public affairs.
Michael provides government relations representation to clients, including private equity firms and hedge funds, and portfolio companies of each. He works with members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate to shape legislation and administrative action and has a Republican public affairs presence across the United States.
Michael also offers general counsel and strategic advice to various corporations, with concentrations in commercial and business transactions, in the areas of health care, energy, finance (debt and equity), corporate governance, government relations, regulatory, environmental, real estate development and land use law.
In addition, Michael handles transactional negotiations and dispute resolutions, as well as business and real estate purchase agreements, loan and surety agreements and settlement agreements. He represents businesses before boards and administrative agencies and in all forms of dispute resolution.
