Michael A. Gehl is a retired partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. He was a member of the firm’s Commercial Transactions & Business Counseling Practice. His areas of practice encompassed a broad range of business and financial matters, including the formation of business entities, buy/sell agreements, employment agreements and executive compensation, aircraft transactions and regulatory compliance, commercial contracts, financing transactions, joint ventures, business combinations, shareholder disputes, and business succession planning. His aircraft-related practice included representing clients in the sale and purchase of new and used aircraft, counseling regarding aircraft ownership structures, and assisting businesses and individuals in entering and exiting fractional ownership programs. He focused his practice on privately owned companies, including manufacturing, distribution and professional services firms. He has chaired the firm’s former Private Business Group.
