Chauncey W. Lever, Jr. is a partner and finance lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He practices in the areas of public finance and health care finance, serving as bond counsel, special tax counsel, disclosure counsel, and counsel to underwriters, banks, purchasers, borrowers, issuers, trustees, and other parties in connection with governmental purpose and private activity financings.
Chauncey has extensive experience with financings for governmental capital improvements and infrastructure, utilities, airports, seaports, private and public hospitals and other health care facilities, multi-state health systems, housing, senior living facilities, higher education, charter schools and other educational facilities, 501(c)(3) organizations, industrial development, and community development and redevelopment.
Chauncey also has extensive experience with various types of financing structures, including pooled loan programs, commercial paper programs, master lease-purchase arrangements, structured public finance, special district financings, tax increment, special assessment and ad valorem tax financings, and public private partnerships.
Chauncey’s practice in public finance and health care finance includes related derivative transactions and related tax and securities law matters.
