Michael has extensive experience in the field of antitrust law, including civil antitrust litigation, government antitrust investigations, and counseling relating to compliance with state and federal antitrust laws. He also routinely represents clients in connection with litigation and counseling concerning California’s unfair competition law, Business and Professions Code section 17200.
In addition to the areas of antitrust and competition law, Michael represents corporate clients in a broad range of complex business litigation and counseling. His representative engagements include lawsuits involving consumer class actions, managed care reimbursement and other health care disputes, breach of contract, intellectual property, privacy, insurance coverage, partnership dissolution, real estate, employment claims, and securities fraud.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While in law school, Michael was an articles editor for the Wisconsin Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Board, a representative to the Student Bar Association, and a teaching assistant for the legal writing program.
