Legal Aid Clinics

Foley attorneys partner with local organizations throughout the United States to participate in legal aid clinics in order to provide immediate access to legal consultation to economically-disadvantaged residents.  These clinics range from providing general legal advice services (e.g. Detroit Legal Services Clinic) to focusing on helping a specific vulnerable population, such as refugee and immigrant woman who are the victims of domestic violence (e.g. Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition).  These legal clinics provide an opportunity for Foley attorneys to share their legal expertise with racially diverse individuals in need.

Foley’s Recent Work:

Foley works with the Detroit Legal Service Clinic to sponsor a virtual legal service clinic each month, providing access to legal consultation for Detroit residents in need.

Foley assists Rosie’s Place, a local shelter that provides resources for low income and destitute women, by hosting eviction defense clinics.

Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition

Foley partners with the Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition, a local culturally specific non-profit organization to host clinics for vulnerable refugee and immigrant women who might also be victims of domestic violence.

United States Department of Veterans Affairs

Foley has teamed up with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and corporate law departments (including Blue Cross Blue Shield and AT&T), and HP (formerly known as Hewlett Packard) to staff the Veterans legal clinic at the VA Center.
