Foley & Lardner LLP and Springboard Enterprises hosted on September 12, 2007 the Legal:GPS Web seminar, “IP Ownership: Freedom to Operate, Avoiding Disputes.” The discussion was led by Dr. Hollis D. Kleinert, president of Kleinert Scientific/Commercial Consultations. Throughout her corporate and entrepreneurial careers, Dr. Kleinert has gained broad experience dealing with issues of intellectual property (IP) ownership and management.
Dr. Kleinert was joined by Carole E. Handler, Vice Chair of Foley’s IP Litigation Practice. With extensive experience with entertainment, trademark, copyright, and antitrust cases in both the state and federal court systems, Ms. Handler focuses her practice on copyright in new media, antitrust, and the interface of antitrust and IP.
