This teleseminar will provide an in-depth discussion on the emerging trends of government enforcement actions targeting the failure of organizations to provide adequate care and the recently issued OIG/AHLA guidance for Boards of Directors on Quality of Care. Particular emphasis will be placed on the impact of data mining, reporting obligations, pay for performance, and CMS quality initiatives.
They will also discuss how to integrate quality into a compliance program, when to consider using outside independent review organizations when peer review is not working effectively, and the OIG’s role in enforcement actions.
