Partners Rodney H. Dow, Frederic J. Vorlop, Karl A. Hochkammer, Mark F. Foley and Allen W. Williams will present at Utilimetrics Autovation 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia.
On Tuesday, September 9, 2008, Mr. Dow and Mr. Williams along with industry colleague Mike Moylan from WE Energies will present a session on, “AMR/AMI Strategic Issues.” Also that day, Mr. Foley will be joined by Clark Ferguson of BCHydro and Michael LeMay of the University of Illinois for a presentation on, “Cyber Security.”
On Wednesday, September 10, 2008 Mr. Dow, Mr. Moylan and Mr. Foley will team up with Mr. Vorlop, Mr. Hochkammer and Bernie Bujnowski (an AMI consultant formerly with PPL Electric) to present a 4-hour educational session on, “Addressing AMR/AMI Risks with Effective Vendor Negotiations and contracts.” This presentation will discuss the basic models for AMR/AMI solutions and common associated risks, general negotiating strategies to mitigate risks, and common issues presented by most AMR/AMI contracts with suggestions for resolution.
