Partner Peter S. Vogel, chair of the firm’s internet, e-commerce and technology team, will co-present “Legal Ethics in the Internet Age, Including Cyber Threats” at the Dallas Bar Association’s Ethics Fest.
In his presentation, Vogel will cover a class action suit brought by clients against a law firm for not properly securing client files. Vogel will also cover metadata and how to avoid inadvertent disclosure of client information. Cyber risks associated with using the cloud, malware and IT outsourcing will also be discussed.
