Beyond the noncompete

Foley partner Russell Beck authored an article titled “Beyond the noncompete” in the June 2, 2009 issue of Computerworld. Beck discusses the reluctance of some courts to enforce noncompete agreements in recognition of the down economy and the need to permit people to work, noting that most companies can still arm themselves with several tools in the absence of an enforceable noncompete, or any noncompete at all.
