Senior Counsel Frank Murray was quoted in an article that appeared in the September 23, 2013 issue of the Wall Street Journal titled “Do Not Disturb: Preventing Supply Chain Disruption.” The article discusses the fragility of the supply chain and lessons learned. Murray was quoted saying, “Traditionally, companies have been worried about disruptions to their supply chain by an act of God, and those risks are still out there. But now there are all sorts of new risks—conflict minerals, human trafficking, counterfeit parts and more. And these can be just as devastating to a company as a hurricane or tornado, and take even more business judgment to evaluate and ensure that your supply chain will not be disrupted.”
