Gardere Partners David Cabrales and Elsa Manzanares Named to Top Latino Lawyers 2017

David G. Cabrales, a partner in the firm’s litigation practice group, and Elsa Manzanares, co-chair of Gardere’s international trade practice group, have been named to Latino Leaders Magazine’s 2017 list of top Latino lawyers in the United States. This is the second consecutive year that Manzanares has been featured on the list, which released its third annual edition this year.

To be eligible for selection, nominees must be a Latino law firm partner with a proven track record of successful cases or transactions, and must be involved in the Hispanic community at either the local, regional or national level. A selection committee chooses 50 attorneys to include on the list based on nominations and research. 

Former general counsel to Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Cabrales is a litigator with broad experience representing clients in environmental, state government and commercial matters. Manzanares, an experienced international trade attorney, advises clients on U.S. and international regulations governing the import and export of goods, services, software and technology.
