The United States Patent and Trademark Office acknowledged the pro bono service of Foley partners Charles Carter and John Lazarus and attorneys Joseph Janas, Roger Rozanski and Lisamarie Collins with its Individual Patent Pro Bono Achievement Certificate for 2017.
The USPTO recognized lawyers with the certificate of achievement for volunteering at least 50 hours of pro bono service through a regional patent pro bono program.
Carter, Lazarus and Collins volunteered through the VLA Patent Pro Bono Program, while Janas and Rozanski volunteered through the Chicago-Kent Patent Hub.
