Foley & Lardner was honored with the 2019 “Company of the Year” award from Believe Anything and Everything is Possible, Inc. BAEP is a Salisbury, Massachusetts-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to cancer patients and their families so they do not have to choose between medical care and medications and basic necessities.
Foley was praised for providing timely and unlimited legal advice, from its initial formation of the nonprofit corporation in 2018, through successfully completing the 501(c)(3) application process with the IRS, and providing ongoing contracting and compliance advice as BAEP expands its efforts to support individuals undergoing cancer treatment in our community.
Clare Rager and Allie Shalom, both of whom provide pro bono services to BAEP as part of their legal practices, were on hand to accept the award.
