Foley Represents Rockwell Automation in Sensia Joint Venture with Schlumberger

Foley & Lardner served as lead counsel to Rockwell Automation (NYSE:ROK) with respect to the formation of its global joint venture with Schlumberger (NYSE:SLB). The joint venture, known as Sensia, began operations on Oct. 1, 2019. 

Sensia is the world’s first fully integrated digital oilfield automation solutions provider, with over 1,000 team members serving customers in over 80 countries. It operates as an independent entity, with Rockwell, the world’s largest industrial automation and information company, owning 53% and Schlumberger, the world’s leading provider of technology for reservoir characterization, drilling, production and processing to the oil and gas industry, owning 47%.
