Hoffman Quoted on Enforcing Employer Face Mask Policies

06 April 2021 SHRM News

Partner Carrie Hoffman was quoted in a SHRM article, “How to Convince Employees to Keep Wearing Masks,” about what employers should do to persuade vaccinated employees they need to keep wearing face masks in the workplace.

Hoffman said employers should explain to vaccinated employees that the law does not prohibit them from imposing requirements on all workers to keep everyone safe. Employers need to communicate to employees that “the requirement to wear a mask is about protecting everyone,” she said.
