Partner Jeffrey (Jeff) Kopp was quoted in a Law360 article entitled, “Attys’ Wish List For Upcoming DOL Davis-Bacon Act Reform,” outlining the expected revision from the US Department of Labor on the Davis-Bacon Act, which requires construction contractors to pay prevailing wages on federally funded projects.
On prevailing wage determination, Kopp stated: “You’re talking about a trillion-dollar infrastructure bill that’s a significant amount of taxpayer investment. It’s imperative that we make sure that the prevailing wages are accurate and to me, that’s the biggest issue.”
