Foley’s Sports Industry Team Successfully Hosts Let’s Go to the Game
February 2, 2018
In January 2018, the Foley & Lardner Sports Industry Team hosted a roundtable event in the firm’s New York office, Let’s Go to the Game: Using Technology to Sell the Live Game Experience in Professional and Collegiate Sports. Facilitated by presentations from Joe Choti (President & CEO, Tickets.com & ProVenue) and Chris Heck (President, Philadelphia 76ers), over 30 guests from across the sports industry — including team executives, representatives from technology companies, and investors in technology — participated in a spirited discussion addressing the latest technological trends in event ticketing and the immersive in-arena fan experience. The group discussed the latest innovations and prospective developments in electronic ticketing platforms and in-arena technologies designed to enhance the fan experience, drive attendance at stadiums and arenas, and leverage revenue opportunities. This event is part of the Foley Sports Industry Team’s ongoing programming focused on bringing industry stakeholders together around the latest legal and business developments within the sports industry.
