Foley Of Counsel Barry Grossman was quoted in an article titled “S.E. Wisconsin behind other regions in water patents” in the September 25, 2009 issue of the Milwaukee Business Journal. Grossman discusses Milwaukee’s future as a hub for water-based technology and businesses, noting that the Milwaukee region needs to improve its ability to obtain patents for new water technologies in order to become a water-tech leader. He adds that nanotechnology and filtration systems, metering, and the licensing of control sensors hold the most promise for immediate returns among the different water technologies and industries in Southeast Wisconsin.
