In its annual “The Am Law 100” feature, The American Lawyer ranked Foley & Lardner 54th on its Am Law 100 list based on gross revenues. Am Law reported gross revenues last year for Foley of $686 million, a 10.5 percent increase over 2016, bumping the firm up one spot on the AmLaw 100 list.
The annual Am Law 100 feature analyzes the financial health of the nation’s 100 largest law firms by gross revenue and other key metrics based off of 2017 returns.
Using other metrics, The American Lawyer ranked Foley:
- 61st based on 2017 revenue per lawyer
- 64th based on 2017 profits per partner
- 54th based on 2017 gross revenue per lawyer
- 71st based on 2017 compensation to all partners
- 81st based on 2017 profits per lawyer
- 65th based on its 2017 profitability index
- 70th based on 2017 value per lawyer
