フォーリーはノバキャップを代理し、スタティック・メディアとの提携を推進

フォーリー・アンド・ラーダー法律事務所は、北米を代表するプライベート・エクイティ企業であるノバキャップに対し、インディアナポリスに本拠を置くスタティック・メディアとの提携において法的代理人を務めた。スタティック・メディアは、食、ライフスタイル、メディア・エンターテインメント分野でコンテンツを提供する、独自性と情熱に満ちたデジタルメディアブランド群を所有・運営する企業である。

2012年に設立されたスタティック・メディアは、当初は「ZergNet」というコンテンツ推薦エンジンのみを提供していました。2019年にはZergNetの技術を活用し、LooperやMashedといった自社開発のデジタルメディア事業に注力し始めました。その後、同社は自社開発メディアの拡充に加え、Tasting Table、Glam、Women.com、The Daily Mealなどのメディアを買収。技術プラットフォームを活用してポートフォリオを拡大し、オンラインでのリーチを拡大しています。

スタティック・メディアとノバキャップの提携により、同社は既存分野および新規分野におけるコンテンツリーダーシップの拡大戦略をさらに推進することが可能となる。スタティック・メディアは今後も、コンテンツ制作と市場投入戦略を支援するため、独自の技術スタックを活用し続ける。
