Peighton Bruno is an associate in the Intellectual Property Department at Foley & Lardner LLP. She is based in the Boston office where she is a member of the Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice Group.
Peighton has experience in technologies including medical devices, telecommunications, electric vehicle systems, such as battery temperature regulation, and engine and power generation systems, such as internal combustion engines. In addition to preparing and prosecuting patent applications, Peighton has worked at Foley on patent licensing and collaboration agreements relating to stem cell therapy and associated medical devices.
Prior to joining Foley, Peighton worked at a multinational aerospace company drafting provisional patent applications, defensive publications, and office action responses to patents’ restriction requirements and statutory rejections.
During law school, Peighton was a summer associate at Foley where she drafted office action responses to various statutory rejections and wrote memoranda on precedent as well as success rates in patent infringement lawsuits
