Overview
Anjali Desai is director of coaching with Foley & Lardner LLP and is a member of the Legal Talent & Development Department. As a certified coach, Anjali coaches attorneys at all levels on a variety of topics, including career strategy and management, leadership and business development, productivity and time management, effective interpersonal communication, work/life integration and team dynamics. In her role, Anjali supports Foley’s attorneys in designing strategies to achieve their individual career, leadership development, and performance goals.
Prior to becoming a certified coach, Anjali served as assistant general counsel – corporate & compliance and assistant secretary at the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (Farmer Mac) for seven years. In that position, she worked closely with Farmer Mac's executive team and board on a wide range of legal matters. Before that, she practiced for five years with Alston & Bird LLP, with a focus on corporate law, securities and M&A.
