Deputy General Counsel

Matthew J. Price is the firm’s deputy general counsel, advising the firm and its lawyers with respect to a wide variety of professional responsibility, ethics, regulatory, compliance, and insurance issues.

Prior to joining Foley, Matt practiced commercial civil litigation and dispute resolution. He represented local, national, and global companies before administrative agencies, arbitration panels, state and federal courts, and through other dispute resolution mechanisms in diverse areas, including contractual disputes, complex construction defects and delays, insurance coverage, business valuation and shareholder disputes, bankruptcy, Chapter 128 receivership, governmental bidding and award disputes, construction bonds, employment discrimination, collections, and lien foreclosure.

In addition to his deputy general counsel duties at Foley, Matt prosecutes attorney disciplinary matters in his capacity as retained counsel to the Office of Lawyer Regulation of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin.
