Joseph (Joe) S. Rupkey has extensive experience representing clients in a wide variety of real estate matters, including the sale, purchase, exchange, development, leasing, and financing of commercial real property. He also has significant experience representing corporate clients in connection with the real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Joe is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice and Sports Industry Team and is the Chair of the Wisconsin Real Estate Practice Group.

In addition to his experience with the firm, Joe also has previous in-house experience as legal counsel for Kohl’s Department Stores, Inc., which gives him a unique perspective in representing clients in connection with retail properties. In his position at Kohl’s, he drafted and negotiated a wide variety of retail lease, purchase and sale, site development, and operational agreements for properties nationwide.
