Mr. Hurley brings more than 20 years of business development, marketing and operations experience in the legal, management consulting and e-commerce industries. Prior to joining Foley, he was chief business development officer at global corporate law firm DLA Piper, where he developed and drove strategies focused on client retention and growth. At DLA Piper, he previously served as head of the firm’s early-stage venture capital program, advising more than 1,000 emerging growth technology companies on market development, strategic partnerships and financing issues. Mr. Hurley was founder and president of LMR Company, a management consulting firm that provided a broad range of high-impact business development and marketing solutions for technology, service sector and venture capital clients. Thought Leadership Mr. Hurley is an adjunct professor at American University where he teaches courses on entrepreneurship. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and universities on topics related to business development, entrepreneurship and raising venture capital.
