Utility Rate Case Issues & Strategies 2009

Partner Glenn Rippie is speaking at Law Seminars International’s Fifth Annual Conference on Utility Rate Case Issues & Strategies 2009, February 5 – 6, 2009, at the Alexis Park Resort Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Rippie will present on February 6, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. His session is titled “Resource Planning and Rates to Incentivize Utility Behavior.” The session will cover: trends among the states; best approaches to rates and riders to incentivize utility behavior and ways to avoid unintended consequences; issues involving the presumption of prudence for cost recovery; and addressing the possibility of orphan projects.
