Foley Partner and Vice Chair of the firm’s Government Enforcement, Compliance & White Collar Defense Practice, Michael Matthews, moderated a panel discussion at the Twenty First Annual National Seminar on the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. The seminar was held in St. Petersburg, Florida, on May 24, 2012. Mr. Matthews’ presentation was titled “Mitigation at Sentencing.” Panelists included Amy Baron-Evans, Sentencing Resource Counsel for the Federal Public and Community Defenders; Barry Pollack of Miller Chevalier; and Megan Rowland, Investigation/Mitigation Specialist at the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Tampa, Florida.
