Foley Partner Jack Lord was quoted in an article titled “Kassab: Union proposal is bad for everyone” in the January 30, 2009 issue of the Orlando Sentinel. Lord speaks on a portion of the Employee Free Choice Act that allows a federal arbitrator to impose a two-year contract after 120 days of impasse once a union is established, adding that this particular portion of the proposal may hurt employers.
