Partner Michael Matthews appeared in a WFLA segment on April 16, 2015. The segment discussed a pro bono case Matthews successfully argued in front of the Florida Supreme Court. The case set a new precedent for evidence admissible in trial. Matthews was quoted saying, “[Joseph Bearden’s] main accuser against him was the one who confessed to being the one there and that’s the confession that the Florida Supreme Court said today should have come in at trial and would come in at a new trial.”
