Jesse Byam-Katzman is a business litigator who advises and represents clients in complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on the technology and manufacturing sectors. Jesse advocates for clients in state and federal courts and arbitration in matters involving software and licensing disputes (from implementation through termination), distribution and supply agreements, post-closing M&A litigation, and government investigations and enforcement actions. Jesse also counsels on product distribution and dealer network management, helping clients align commercial relationships and risk tolerance with business objectives.

Drawing on a strategic and pragmatic approach, Jesse partners with clients to assess risk early, position disputes for efficient resolution, and litigate vigorously when necessary. Jesse regularly develops proactive dispute-avoidance strategies, negotiates favorable resolutions to high-stakes matters, and drives litigation strategies that protect enterprise value.

Before pursuing a career in the legal industry, Jesse worked as a claims professional for Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies where he managed claims and litigation and implemented reserves.
