Lisamarie’s counsel extends to all aspects of patent procurement and portfolio management, including noninfringement, freedom-to-operate and validity opinions; due diligence; and licensing. The companies she works with develop innovations related to immunology, molecular and cell biology, cell-based therapeutics, therapeutic compositions, methods of treatment, diagnostics, probiotics, agricultural biotechnology, and plant technology. She is a member of the Chemical, Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Practice, as well as the Health Care & Life Sciences and Innovative Technology Sectors.
Lisamarie joined Foley as a summer associate and later a law clerk. Previously, she worked as a law clerk with the Wisconsin State Department of Corrections. Prior to her legal career, she conducted research and taught in the areas of physiological and biological sciences at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Marquette University.
