Jacqueline represents clients in a wide range of litigation matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. She also counsels clients on employment issues, from correct classification of employees to defending against wage garnishment proceedings, and she has assisted with mergers and acquisitions in various industries by guiding clients through labor and employment-related diligence. Jacqueline has conducted numerous internal investigations related to sexual harassment allegations and theft of intellectual property, providing her clients with valuable risk analysis and recommendations for forward-looking remedial measures.
Jacqueline has also advised a variety of businesses on unemployment matters, including assisting employers with developing and applying for Work Share programs in various states when they need to reduce payroll costs without reducing their workforce.
Prior to joining Foley, Jacqueline served as an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Sexual Assault Team at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office and a Jay A. Pritzker Fellow at the Legal Aid and Defender’s Association. Jacqueline has tried twenty felony jury trials in the Michigan Third Circuit Court, including various life offenses and interviewed hundreds of witnesses for purposes of investigations and trial preparation.
