He previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable James B. Loken, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit during the court’s 2020-21 term.
During law school, Bryan was a summer associate at Foley, and an extern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota, the Criminal Division of the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office, and the Criminal Appeals Unit of the Wisconsin Department of Justice. He also served as an articles editor for the Minnesota Law Review, and competed on the school’s mock trial and moot court teams. Before becoming a lawyer, Bryan served as an analyst in the Wisconsin State Budget Office, where he collaborated with the Governor’s Office and state agencies to formulate and execute the state’s biennial budget.
