David leverages his comprehensive understanding of tax law and deal dynamics to navigate multifaceted transactions, focusing his practice on the tax aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as divestitures and recapitalizations, debt and equity financings, and internal restructurings.
Before joining Foley, David was a partner at a global law firm in its Salt Lake City office, where he played a key role advising clients on high-profile transactions. He also practiced for nearly a decade in the Palo Alto and Houston offices of an international law firm.
