She is a member of the firm’s Health Care Practice. Ms. Jenkins was a summer associate with Foley, where she gained experience in the area of health care law. She also worked as a research assistant for Professor Jill Horwitz, M.P.P., J.D., Ph.D., at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and as a judicial extern to The Honorable Nathanael Cousins of U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to pursuing her legal career, Ms. Jenkins worked as a quality coordinator for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in the Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Department and participated in the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program as an assistant language teacher. Education Ms. Jenkins received her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law (J.D., 2017). During law school, she was a member of the Health Law Society and the Journal of Environmental Law & Policy. She also received the UCLA Law Masin Gold Award for Academic Excellence for earning the top grade in health law and policy and in negotiation theory and practice. Ms. Jenkins received her master’s degree in health administration from the University of Southern California (M.H.A., 2013), where she was a member of the Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society, the Graduate Student Government, and the Student Health Council. She earned her bachelor's degree in political science, with a minor in conflict resolution from the University of California, Irvine (B.A., 2010). During this time, she was included on the Dean’s Honor Lists multiple times, received Political Science Honors and the Associated Students UC Irvine Presidential Medal. She also served as the vice president of the Associated Students and the vice chair of the Bren Events Center Student Advisory Board.
