Foley Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, Chair of the firm’s Telemedicine Industry Team and co-chair of the firm’s Digital Health Group, will be presenting a webinar with the Mississippi Telehealth Association on September 14, 2017 at 1:00 pm ET. Mr. Lacktman’s presentation is titled “Legal and Regulatory: Building a Multi-State Telemedicine Program.”

The program will tap into the entrepreneurial spirit of telehealth and health innovation. It will also touch on destination medicine, online specialty opinions, and other cross-border medical services.

Governor Phil Bryant led the formation of Mississippi Telehealth Association (MTHA) in an effort to ensure that Mississippi is on the leading edge of telehealth. The mission of MTHA is to provide a statewide forum for the purposes of developing telehealth related policies and programs designed to improve healthcare for Mississippians. The MTHA membership consists of telehealth service providers, technology vendors, telecommunications providers, hospitals, patient advocacy and wellness organizations, and other relevant groups. They are committed to increasing access and overall quality of healthcare in the state of Mississippi.
