Foley Attorneys Pen Chapter of “Getting the Deal Through” Series.
Foley announced today that the firm’s Environmental Regulation Practice has been selected to contribute the U.S. law chapter in a book summarizing the environmental laws of 25 countries. The book is the latest in the worldwide “Getting The Deal Through” series of comparative legal analysis published by Law Business Research Ltd in London (LBR) in partnership with the International Bar Association.
LBR’s annual publications cover the laws and regulations in various countries in more than 30 specialty areas, including copyright, corporate governance, franchise and mergers & acquisitions. The book devotes a chapter to the laws of each country, and LBR asks just one law firm to write the chapter. This year LBR has expanded its series to include a book on environmental law, and they selected Foley to contribute the chapter on U.S. environmental law.
