Chambers USA Recognizes Law Firm in 2007 Client’s Guide.
Foley announced today that its Energy Practice was recently recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers For Business: 2007 Client’s Guide as one of the top in the nation in the electricity sector. Chambers, a guide to law firms and attorneys across the country, is compiled by independent researchers who conducted more than 14,000 phone interviews with clients and lawyers nationwide.
As one of 27 firms ranked nationally in the Energy: Electricity category, the guide praises Foley’s team at this national firm for “Its vast experience of regulatory matters” and “work for clients on the legal aspects of corporate de-mergers and disposals, such as the recent sale of a stake in a nuclear plant.” Chambers also highlights Foley’s Chicago office partners Paul F. Hanzlik and E. Glenn Rippie as “experts in the energy sector.”
As well as ranking the firm’s Energy Practice nationally, Chambers also recognizes Foley as the top Energy & Natural Resources Practice in Illinois. In addition to Hanzlik and Rippie, Foley partners John P. Ratnaswamy and John L. Rogers are listed as top Energy & Natural Resources: Regulatory attorneys in the state.
